Recently, we received a delegation of leaders from the Water Conservancy Bureau of Huaiyin District, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province for an inspection and guidance visit. Based on the overall objectives of regional water conservancy security and green energy development, there is a conference which is held in-depth discussions on the modernization renovation project of 12 sets of 280kW hydropower units within the jurisdiction, and jointly explored ways to improve the quality and efficiency of ageing hydropower facilities.

During the discussion, from macro perspectives including long-term management and protection of water conservancy infrastructure, clean energy supply guarantee and people’s livelihood water conservancy support, both sides discussed key matters such as maintenance technical schemes, construction organization, safety control and project cost. The aim is to guarantee stable and efficient operation of power stations through refined operation and maintenance, consolidate the foundation of regional water conservancy security, and support local green and low-carbon development.
